The workshop will be held in two stages, the first focusing on the theoretical part on the agro-industrialization of Cerrado fruits in Tocantins. The second step is due to the practice, showing in loco, the processing of the fruits in the various agro-industries operating in the State.
According to Seagro's food engineer, Verônica França, the event is a continuation of activities to encourage the production and processing of fruit from the Cerrado of Tocantins. “On the occasion, we will pass on, to those interested in the food factory area, the main stages of the processing of Cerrado fruits, thus allowing for another alternative to generate income, especially for family farmers”, he points out.
The Cerrado fruit agribusiness event, with the theme Tocantins, a Cerrado of opportunities, is part of the Cerrado + Productive State Program.
