Events aim to provide support to the rural producer that serves the wine market throughout the country
Yara, world leader in plant nutrition, promotes on Wednesday (24) another webinar that aims to bring technical knowledge to farmers throughout Brazil who grow the wine grape. To date, more than 45 online meetings have been held by the company, with an average of 230 participants per lecture. The initiative is part of a package of actions to provide the support that the farmer needs to continue fulfilling his role of bringing food to the table, especially in the midst of the pandemic. The content is presented by agronomic experts in events that have the participation of experts in the subject.
In this week's program the wine grape will be addressed in the following theme: "Nutritional challenges in the grape culture", in partnership with wineries from the South region, such as Aurora, FecoVinho, Garibaldi and Santa Clara. The effects of nitrogen and nutrition as a whole will be discussed to improve the quality and profitability of the crop. According to Guilherme Schmitz, Manager of Research & Development and Agronomy at Yara Brazil and one of the project leaders, sharing knowledge is the main path to sustainable agribusiness growth. "As important as we continue to make available our portfolio of products, essential for plant nutrition and food production, is to provide support to the producer at this time of so many doubts, collaborating so that he is prepared for any scenario, able to make the best decisions in the field", he says.
During the online experience, participants can interact and ask their questions. "Our dialogue channel remains open and active, not only by webinars, but by various platforms. We follow alongside the farmer, especially at this moment, reducing the physical distance with our virtual availability", he concludes.
