The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa), in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) and National Confederation of Workers in Agriculture (Contag) promotes next Monday (20), at 10am, the webinar "The rural producer and the fight against the sale married".
The event will be broadcast live on YouTube channels from both Map and MJSP (links below). The goal is to clarify how the producer can identify and protect himself from the married sale – an action prohibited by the Consumer Protection Code.
What is married selling?
The practice occurs when the financial institution conditions the release of the credit to the acquisition of other financial products, such as capitalization securities, consortia and insurance outside the financed activity. For the consumer, it is important to understand and identify the forms of married sale, in addition to knowing how and where to report the action.
The initiative also has the support of the Regional Center of Family Agriculture Organizations (Ceaf), the National Confederation of Family Agriculture Workers of Brazil (Confetraf), the National Confederation of Workers workers in Family Agriculture of Brazil (Contraf Brazil) and the National Confederation of Family Agriculture of Brazil – CONAF.
